Respect fluffy friends

Gentleness, patience and the reading of cats and dogs language are a must. Those are pretty words, but what does that imply for grooming in concrete terms ?

• At Le Coin à Truffes, pets will always be taking care of alone to have all the attention of our groomers : no multiple appointments in parallel !
• They will have a time for playing/sniffing around/petting before and after the groom, so they are not rushed and be able to analyse their environment. Water will always be available.
• The groom will not necessarily completed if the pet become too much stressed. For exemple, a dog might leave with damp ears if blow drying was too much for them.
• De-matting will not be done of our groomers realize it would be too long or too painfull. We often take care of doggys who developped traumas after intense de-matting (bright red skin, even torn appart, total panic when they see the brush...)

Respect humans

Leaving your pet for grooming can be a stress for you too. At Le Coin à Truffes, we believe in personnalized support, transparency and listenning. In concrete terms, what does that means ?

• A little talk before starting the groom will always be provided to be sure we understand one an other on goals, expectations, and faisability of the groom.
• Every radical change compare to what was defined (example : a very short clipped haircut due to too many matting we only find when blow-drying) will be done with your agreement
• A transparent feedback on the behavior, quality of the coat, health of your pet and complementary remarks if any, will be provided after the groom. Feel free to ask for maintenance advises !

• In the unfortunate scenario the pet would be wounded during the groom, our groomers will obviously detailed everything ; care advises would be given, and medical bills would be take care of if any.

Respect ourselves

Pet grooming is not an easy job everyday. At Le Coin à Truffes, we want to take care of the physical and mental health of our groomers. How ?

• By having adapted and adaptable equipment, of great quality and evolving every day. We take care of our backs and joints !
• By using security and protection equipments, allowing us to work comfortably. We protect our ers, eyes, and lungs ! Thoses security measure can allow us to take care of "difficult" dogs that would not be accept in other salons.
• By saying no. Wether it is for a groom that goes against our working guidelines (Clipping a double coat, "Boo" haircut on spitz...) or simply a pet that we feel we are not able to manage (a very agressive cat for example), we will advise other services or other professionnals so that your fur baby gets the care they deserve.
